I want to run a DDOS attack but I’m not really sure where to start, what DDOS tools should I use?? Is a paid one better than a free one?? Do I need a VPN?? Or how do I stay hidden?? Thanks

Basically C2 aka Command & Control server are a program controlled by attackers with infected devices
So, when you have a C2 server you can send the bots to attack a website with DDoS or mining cryptocurrency on the infected devices.

Is LOIC good?? I keep getting mixed results, some people are saying it can easily be tracked to an IP, others are saying it’s safe. Also from my understanding, by having the application on my computer, my computer would then be used to attack another networks, is that correct??

unless you use a botnet loic wouldn't do much I don't really think there is a point in trying
