On December 20, 2012, the now-defunct hacker forum HackDiscussion ( hackdiscussion.com) was breached, resulting in the compromise of 5,715 user records dating from January 22, 2012, to December 20, 2012. The compromised data included usernames, email addresses, salted passwords, and more.

I wonder what kind of hacker forum this is. Out of curiosity, I checked the Wayback Machine, but the earliest snapshots don’t go much earlier than this leak. It makes me kind of curious about the background of this leak, but not that curious.
Sadly, the archive.org seems to be having problem right now. Maybe next time.
Either way, white hat or not, I’d be surprised if anyone is still using the same email or password by now.
