I have the impression that this data is already available as open data in the RNE or RNCS, but why not? InfoLegal may have enriched the data somewhere.

RNE is Registre National des Entreprises. Previously, it was possible to download the database with a direct link, but I can no longer find the link; perhaps it has changed.

There may only be API or FTP access now. Open data in France is such a mess

RNCS (Registre National du Commerce et des Sociétés) is an old registry, replaced by the RNE. In reality, the RNCS, the RM (Répertoire des Métiers) and the RAA (Registre des Actifs Agricoles) have merged into the RNE. As far as I remember, there was a little more information in the RNCS than in the RNE (such as people's full date of birth).

Note that there is another RNE that is unrelated: Registre National des Elus.


If we can no longer download the data openly, then I take back what I said: this 14M leak from HawkSec @L4dybug, and the previous one from @HexDex, are useful!

We would need to obtain a SFTP access (not API) to the INPI in order to download the documents. I don't know if they provide a clean format (it's JSON for the API) or if we need to parse PDFs.
