My question is, how on Earth they store passwords on MD5? Why didn't they use bcrypt to secure users sensitive information in 2024?

I am not much into it but could it be due to storage capacity?

yup, should not be happening. but year after year we still see companies and people using md5.

It's maybe because AI is quite new topic and some newbie companies grow up. Will probably see more of these soon ;d
