My friend lost his job the same way but he insists he wasn't actually viewing anything on the job. His phone's internet browser would open the last used tab, which led to a porn site he'd have been jacking off to the night before, and he'd spam the home button before anything actually loaded.
This happened enough times that someone noticed and took action. Network admin either wouldn't back up how much data got transferred from the offending sites, or couldn't. Either way, he was gonzo.
