I feel like disclosing what gender you are runs opposite to the idea of protecting your identity. Unless they're your typical skid, you won't find many hackers willing to just out and reveal personal details about themselves, no matter how inconsequential it may seem.

That's fair. And after some of the replies I have received on forums I definitely understand why someone might not want to openly reveal their gender. I can definitely respect that.

Everyone here is male, female, all genders together and whatever you want them to be. Just take your pick.

we're hiding from psychos and trying to be low on the radar. No one suspects of a woman who reads vogue and paints her nails hehe

Funny. It's interesting how people think that if a woman puts effort into her appearance, she can't be very tech literate. Totally understand the hiding from psychos thing!
