Assassin's Creed Shadows

I've been an Assassin's Creed Fan for ages and loved the Ezio Trilogy. I was super excited for Shadows to come out even though the previous games were very different to the Ezio trilogy. I've been playing for the past week and not sure why but it feels a little like Red Dead Redemption 2.
Has anyone else felt this? How are you liking the game so far?

I think it's just burnout from Open world games being too large with too much check listing & seeing endles '?''s on the map. I just managed to paste through Avowed, which was great, but now i'm trying Atomfall which is really not sitting well with me, it's like there's SOMETHING I want to love about it, but im not finding it

to compare with RDR2. I find that horse control in RDR 2 is much better than in AC Shadows.
The horse handling in Shadows is really bad. As for the storyline, there are some pretty moving moments in RDR2.
