I completely agree with these securty problems! It’s not just the lack of 2FA authentication that's concerning or the risk of SIM swapping.

There’s also the serious risk of SS7 attacks, access to the SS7 network isn’t as hard as it should be (you can buy access...), which allow attackers to intercept calls and messages with pretty much just a phone number. 
This vulnerability poses a significant threat to security and privacy and once more is not acknowledged or adressed by the carriers! 

It’s frustrating that these issues remain unaddressed while sensitive information is at risk.

This is a call to reformulate your shitty, full of vulnerabilities and overall very bad performance government websites.

There's no 2FA with third party auth apps as well, in 2024

I was able to login into thousands of these accounts without problem, how is there not even an SMS authentication LOL? (Which is still prone to Sim Swapping, since Portuguese carriers are more interested in profits than actual security as well)

I will have an even bigger list posted here, for multiple Portuguese government websites, until there's no change in your stupid infrastructure
