is it because user base is becoming huge ?.

I don't have any deep computer knowledge, but I can assume it's due to the site's encrypted infrastructure. Something similar happens on the Deep Web.

It will surely be due to the level of security it has and the number of requests they receive.

Maybe it's because they're running both on Onion and public networks, so when the CDN doesn't work...

Depend on many things. Since the forum came bigger and bigger and by default, onion website are slower than regular website. Don't forget DDOS attack, back end infrastructure etc..

Its your government at work, the FBI & Interpol can not read & record the things on here fast enough to allow you to turn the pages that fast. If they did, they might miss something & not be able to track who you are & what you have said or done before. lol !! Blame them.
If you think for one minute they are not here, just say something that will get their attention, that is totally ILLEGAL, then see how fast they come knocking on your door. A threat will do it, you can go open your door the minute after you post one & watch how quick they get there. lol !! Just make it sound real, they will be at your door in less than one hour. No matter where you live, they can get you, even if they have to pay some sniper to wack your ass in Yemen. lol !!

I'm not using this site on ONION, if I were, my browser would reject it, as it does all other ONION sites. To use ONION, I have to switch to TOR. Or, maybe I'm missing something & have a screw loose ??? lol !
