For hacking, I would recommend Kali or Parrot.

BlackArch Linux is definitely underrated and is not suited for someone just starting out in Pen testing / Ethical Hacking

Kali and Parrot OS' are much more user-friendly

I swear that - when I was frequenting IT school - me and another  "not a random mazafaka" - we aused to hide in the bathroom of the school - EVERY morning - the new password of the WiFi  .. and during the day - all the smart boyZ (mostly NO GIRLS were studing IT those times )  were used to use the shared by us - Password  .. 
 The next day - We find the password resetted and steal it again  ( we were used to use an "own" poor-coded but highly-effective Keylogger
in mostly f the cases ) and share with all the entire school .. 
I remember that code in C++ with Python adds .. was so simple but so cool
For like 2-3 months we were used to write the WiFi's code in that bathroom of the school every morning
LOL - We 2 were the most unFamous of the school -- fr I can can Swer is a real story ..
 this continued until a son of a bitch - fedded our system to the Schoold director and they punished us .. LMAOO O
