planning on buying one soon... anyone know if it's good? i've heard you need to region switch if you get the chinese version, but i've already found some good tutorials and a website explaining it.

i'm aware there's a shit ton of chinese spyware on it... stubborn of me to say this but for the cheap facetracking (and the fact i dont have a very good pc) having a standalone headset with built in face tracking really may be worth it (rather than spending 2k+ on a better setup)

yeah, I heard about that. I ended up buying the quest pro just because of the fact there isn't much of a price difference between the two headsets, while the quest pro is clearly a better choice. the purchase supported affirm, so i just did it on a payment plan. 

honestly, best vr headset i've ever used. modern design, comfortable and light asf. runs games great, steamvr crashes sometimes but that may just be the fact i'm using airlink, even with airlink its smooth af (even when i had a shit pc there's little to no difference compared to my upgraded pc)

also theres no chinese spyware so thats a bonus
