Regarding hosting opsec for a forum offering crypto swap. Having talked to a self proclaimed cyber sequirty expert he suggested the forllowing when
wanting to keep the project as secure from LE as possible, keeping users anonymous:
1. Compartmentalise into VPS for the general hosting requiremtns located in romania for lack of DMCA response and proximity to european users.
2. Then host a database with the user information and swap information in russia due to lack of cooperation with the west
3. Host Nodes for the different curencies on a separate server over tor.
4. Domain from an african jurisdiction as its hard to take down
Im not too confident that his suggestions are too reliable nor am i confident that he is actually an expert.
I figured the real experts might reside here and could call out his flaws.
What problems do you see with this setup and what changes would you suggest?
Any contingency plans one might consider implementing?
Also how would you ensure opsec on the different servers in terms of encryption and communication between them?
