I think you're onto something there mate, it seems that with new gaming hardware, only the graphics really get the treatment. Remember Shadows of Mordor? The Nemesis system in that game took advantage of the computational power of that particular console generation to deliver on gameplay, as well as visuals.
oh man absolute greatgame. Did you play the second one? I feel like it was a bit of a rinse and repeat just shinier graphics. Right on topic LOL

I did! And I did like the management of it, but the first game really ran with it's unique vibe with great success

agreed! there's actually a new LOTR gamethat just came out or is coming out soon. Return to Moria I think. No Idea whether it's good or not but I know it's about dwarves haha
