I can buy a good computer for +-1k USD. The thing is, my current computer is enough for the things I use it for. My 2017 graphics card is rumored to stop supporting updates soon. I don't know how this will affect performance in games.
I seemingly have the money for it, but I don't know.... What do you guys think?

Better to just wait until you hit a roadblock where you're current build won't be able to handle it, unless you have the income that means you can freely spend such money every so often. If you're going to upgrade it's probably more beneficial to get the best machine possible and then have it last for a while, in my opinion.
