I use proton simply because swiss privacy and it works best for me. Nord constantly stutters when I'm watching a stream. I know mullvad is great. Proton is no logs and open source and audited, I believe. I'd say proton or mullvad, or maybe proton if it works for you.

I tried finding this one old site that gave an even better in-depth analysis but I can't find it anymore.
I think there are VPNs that are like HideMyAss etc that are israeli-bought so make sure to stay away from those.
