RDP allows to leverage the system resources directly, establish persistence, and mask identities, without much effort. you see where i am going with this ?

I never liked RDP or any remote desktop protocols. Huge attack surface area... I've been told recently that it's just mostly convenient over other protocols like SSH + X11 forwarding (if you require a gui) or just straight SSH + shells & tunnels.
