I usually listen to instrumental music when I need to focus, but sometimes a good dark synth or some lo-fi helps me stay in the zone.

What do you guys listen to when studying, coding, or researching? Do you prefer something more chill, or do you go for high-energy tracks to stay active?

What works for me is instrumental ost from games/movies or techno, depends on the mood lol

it depends. if i am bored i tend to listen to something like metal or techno, but if i need concentration i listen to classical music. i really think it depends on the task

If I want to stay awake while working I mostly listen to Liquid DnB. When I want to really focus and only make the quiet go away I mostly listen to soundtracks of movies or video games (e.g. Statues from Harry Potter, Battlefield Classic Theme) but most of the time I listen to Two Steps from Hell or Hans Zimmer.

Generally lo-fi or OSTs from games/shows when it comes to studying, like your classic lofi girl compilations and shit. I try to avoid vocals though as I find it distracting unless its a song in a foreign language that I don't understand.
