Overall it will be a good thing for the US, TikTok is the equivalent of slot machines, but it sets a terrible precedent for the "nation of the free".

I dont think it will get banned out right. If anything, just spun into an American owned side company and still continue to operate.

Personally I don't like Tiktok the content it offers makes people attention span more shorter and also make others do stupid descision which is very very sad. would be nice if they ban it but I doubt it will be the last platform that will be like that if Tiktok somehow get banned in most countries then another app would just emerge and the cycle would repeat
