The Italian Job

The original isn't as good as the reboot with Michael Kaine. Edward Norton is great as the bad guy.

I disagree, In the original the car chase is amazing, they wrote off so many vehicles making that movie, the remake is just ok I think.

Another heist movie I hadn't considered until you talked about car chases is "Ronin" with Robert DeNiro. The movie is mostly car chases through narrow European streets. And him repeating over and over and over "What's in the case" which you never find out.
