I never got into Anime, though I watched a few with my sister when we were younger (Soul Eater, Black Butler, Naruto, Attack on Titan, Blue Exorcist).
If you guys could suggest one that isn't too over dramatic and with decent english, that would be cool. Might give it another try.

you should consider "My Hero Academia." It's set in a world of superpowers and follows a boy's journey to become a hero. It's known for its action, humor, and likable characters.
