After just seeing the whole Season 1 and the latest 2 episodes of Season 2 so far. This is actually quite fire, MC is a badass which he's worked hard for it.

It kinda reminded me of Season 1 of Sword Art Online. Story is different but how the MC got strong is quite similar and showing that off seems kinda badass.

I've seen there's lots of Manwha coming out all of a sudden or maybe it's just me missing out. But is there any show (not Manwha to read but to watch) that is similar to it?

have you seen tate no yuusha (the rising of the shield hero)?
it's a bit similar, the main character receives one of the worst powers and is betrayed in the first chapter of the anime, from that moment on he becomes stronger, the first season was good and they say that the light novel is also good.

I am a fan of power fantasies such as "The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat", the first season of SAO, "Mushoku Tensei", and "Mashle". Not exactly the same as Solo Leveling but enjoyable.
