I know Ross wasn't exactly a saint, but this honestly put a smile to my face. That man, for all he did, did not deserve an entire life sentence. They really tried making an example out of him. I believe one of the moderators of SR was a CP distributor yet managed to get less of a sentence than Ross.

Happy he's free, however i genuinely wonder what Trump gained from freeing Ross Ulbricht.
I don't see any big population group wanting him freed as far as i know, mostly computer autists. Does anyone have a clue?

Freeing Ross Ulbricht fulfilled a campaign promise to Libertarian supporters. Also, Trump believes that the people who gave Ross the unreasonable sentence are the same people who targeted him after he lost the 2020 election.

I think this is good news. I read his story, he has been in prison for many years. I think now it's time to be free again.
