In October 2025, 1.4M records from the Quality Used Transmissions, a company that offers a variety of used transmissions for different vehicles appeared on BreachForums. The data exposed data contained over 7.8 million customers and dealers records and included almost 8.3 million unique email addresses alongside names, geographic locations and phone numbers of customers and dealers and vehicle details including VIN numbers. Other files included browser user agent details, device information and IP addresses. The data was breached by @0xy0um0m.

The .7z File's MD5 Hash is 9C7EF05C81C0B05D7A0F249502F9BAD6. In total, there are 7864054 records. The file is 23.56GB uncompressed and 1.38GB compressed.

Are you sure? Just tried to find thread on LeakBase but can't find it. As far as I remember it was leaked on xss before by same user.

My gut tells me that this is legit... no obvious red flags (but also not seeing any reports of them having a breach). I'm going to look closer at the files and see if I can find anything.

The emails are valid and exist in anothers leaks. "wraggtop@yhaoo.com" is an interesting typo, and I don't have it in any other leaks, whereas "wraggtop@yahoo.com" exists in other leaks. If we had seen the same typo in another leak, it would have been suspicious, but that's not the case.

It's difficult to validate what's left. There are SQL injections on the site, so that might be a good place to start

The leak is valid for me, no problem.

There are 3 folders:

- kate1969_sw: swengines.com swtransmissions.com qualityusedengines.com

Even if it is fake, I would have gladly paid 8 credits for the entertainment. It's obviously a very, very shady company. Fox News reported that they never leased the building at the address the BBB had for them. But their internal notes are too funny:

If this breach is fake, whoever did it is brilliant. Searching for "BBB" and "attorney general" shows a lot of issues.

https://www.bbb.org/us/wi/cudahy/profile...nts?page=5 shows a complaint on 08/22/2024 that matches an email in kate1969_eatw\emails_imported_202410270610.csv. The BBB page redacts some text, which appears unredacted in this breach.

Of course, someone could fake that... but it would probably take years to do so.
