I thought this was a brilliant idea, but it didn't gain much traction:

So I think the best route is just to post a Mega.nz link that has MY potfiles and other people can post theirs. And basically, take each one, add it to your own, then run your breach hashes over them and see how many are already dehashed.

I'll get a PM each time someone posts their potfile, and add it
Please name them according to the hashes within the potfile (MD5, SHA1, BCRYPT, etc)
If no one bothers, you can at least have my potfiles to help your dehashing efforts!

I think I got up to 70% of the LinkedIn of the hashes dehashed. I want to know if anyone had any more luck with the 30%?

Very cool idea.
I've recently started getting in to hash cracking and i find this resources very useful, time to get cracking to contribute

I have used the SHA1 and MD5 lists on hashmob sites to improve my potfiles. But I don't think I should have to.
hashmob and other sites should just provide them to save us the time, not just look up hashes and hope they're there.
And while I'm bitching, hashcat should somehow magically combine the original file that contains the hash and replace it with the password that was found.
