It is better to start hackthebox instantly or get some basic on tryhackme/root-me and others website that propose pentest ressources?

I used to start with tryhackme because it has learning paths, but i am talking about 5 year ego when hackthebox didnt have learning path to study with.Now they both have it, then i think labs on HTB are more hard then THM, but its subjective. Its up to you

It's better to start with TryHackMe or Root-Me if you're a beginner because they guide you step by step. These platforms teach basic tools like Nmap, Burp Suite, and Metasploit. Hack The Box (HTB) is harder and expects you to figure things out yourself. If you already know some basics, you can jump into HTB’s easy machines. But if you start HTB with no experience, you might get frustrated fast.
