You can play video games of course but its important to know that all excess is bad(Feb 01, 2024, 08:28 PM)Ingrid666 Wrote: I like magic arena game, very addictive, game for sure, its great funI like MTG, it has a lot of strategies and a lot of deck combinations, but its a lot of difficult understand all points lol

People say an addiction has to be something that impacts your life. So, if you cant understand when to stop playing games to go out with a friend. That is probably where you take it too far. The game will be there when you get back

I sacrifice sleep hours for gaming. It's the only way for me to disconnect from stress.

Like any addiction it's too much when it starts to mess up your life and relationships. With that being said I have shown up to work more than once on just a few hours of sleep but I try not to make a habit of it.

Some addictions are obvious, like hard drugs. They actively hurt you via your body. Most addictions are subtle, like gaming. It isn't actively hurting you anymore then most activates (watching tv for hours, working on art in a chair), so it only really becomes an addiction when it starts actively hurting you. That manifests in other ways like not wanting to get a job, or do anything else that isn't gaming.
