So i'm basically someone who works mainly with recon of websites and stuff like that to find vulnerabilities or possibly interesting stuff. But i been trying to learn more about exploitation and Social Engineering, but i don't think there are any platforms that teach you how to perform social engineering and most websites related to hacking are mainly focused on recon and exploitation on a controlled environment, which is kinda unrealistic to what can be found in the wild, so i wanted to know if anyone has any tips for that :33

yes there are some courses on social engineering, but from what I saw it is mostly theoretical, some show you a technical sheet that helps you to better structure how a "character" to deceive others which is what social engineering is all about, the only way is to practice it on your own in the real world. The course I mention to you is one from platzi, it's called "introduction to social engineering" if I remember correctly.
however, I saw it in a publication some time ago, I did not take the course.

self teaching will be your friend in this, trust me there really isn't much of a short cut, the easiest way to social engineer and just to never truly show your goal unless to deceive.

I mean, you don't really need to be an extrovert to do allat. From what i understood until now, all u gotta do is understand enough human behavior and psychology so you will know how to use that to favour you.
(that's pretty much what a lot of politicians do really)

Agreed on the extrovert point, you can accomplish SE with just a good understanding of how the person you are talking to will react
