We've heard a lot about the impact of Pegasus spyware against activists, journalists and politicians,
but who's behind it?
Using only previously exposed databases, we were able to spot reused patterns.
By observing the employees background, we noticed that some of them actually work in various fields;
telecom, mobile app development, cyber security, etc.
It's also worth noting that the NSO Group has been sanctioned in the USA,
so it seems odd to have found several employees in USA so far.
Now to those working in the technology fields, our job isn’t just to be tech wizards.
It’s to protect people’s privacy, not sell it out. We’ve got a choice to make.
It’s not about being some kind of hero.
It’s about knowing that every piece of code, every security measure, every system we touch
can either protect freedom or help destroy it. We’re responsible for what we create.
So stop acting like you’re just a cog in the machine.
We need to stand up when the system is broken.
That’s the real revolution, and it starts with us.
