I'd say this "intermediate" is like my level, but on the other hand, I doubt I'd struggle to make a ransomware since I've already made a stealer in C, so I guess you gotta be really new.

i think ransomware would be easier that stealer because there is no antivirus to evade, just encrypt files and display a message to convince them to pay

Ransomware is one of the most complex forms of malware if it’s any good. I would start with a basic server and creating implants/beacons that are not only persistent but can do stealth call backs etc; By the time you finish and innovate each step you will be a fine mal dev.
