Thoughts on live-action anime adaptations?
One Piece was decent Netflix Death Note was shit Japanese Death Note live-action was great There are so many now

Alice in Borderland is definitely the best anime adaptation series I've seen, it's great!

Live action adaptations are proven in practice to be very shitty, esp if compared to series adaptations. No lie, koreans and japanese should only do animated stuff. They're very bad at interpreting. All this said, the OP one was the least bad I seen.

True, agreed. the adaptations that are decent or ok are rare.

Netflix Cowboy Bebop was awful. The only two good things about it were the music and the actor who played Jet.

Agree, only those three that are decent.
(my expectation is low for this movie category) Rourini Kenshin (2012) is not bad. SNK live-action is almost good. The action and VFX are great, but the story is way too different from manga

Cowboy Bebop and Death note in live action was awful. Two of my favorite anime literally destroyed by Netflix
One Piece was kind of alright
