Kali, Parrot OS, or BlackArch?

It might be a boring answer but at the end of the day it all comes back to the tools the have installed. People often misses the point. If we were to install all the tools included in kali into a windows machine, then windows will be perfect... of course my example it's not perfect but you get the point. Just make sure all your tools are updated and then you have the best OS.

Of these three, the alien to me is BlackArch. I'm not familiar with Arch Linux, but I confess that BlackArch is the sexiest distro of them all (too bad its full version is very large and I don't have storage space at the moment). For now, I mostly use ParrotOS because of HTB.

I would say for following tutorials and learning, use Kali in a VM. For bare metal Parrot OS is way to go but I suggest switching to Arch and installing the packages you need yourself for both better usability and performance.

None of them lol. They're all bloated with tools that you won't use anyway. Just use Arch or Debian and install the tools you really need.

Different pre-installed packages maybe?

I would say kali just for the fact that there is alot fo tuto's for it, and bc its maintained by offsec

I completely agree. I don't get the obsession with these distros. They're fine if you want to do some quick security stuff on a VM or such but it sucks to use them as a daily OS lol

I am using kali right now, but, I have used all of the aforementioned distros (kind of). Kali is the professional one, and probably the oldest, it's pretty lightweight and has a lot of support.
Parrot sec edition had issues connecting to Openvpn servers so I switched to kali, Parrot has more tools, although the usefulness of said tools is debatable.
I have never directly used Blackarch, but I synced/added the Blackarch Aur repo to Archcraft Linux, the tool integration through that was pretty meh. Arch has less support in general.

Kali is like the classic goto with many good tools. Parrot is more lightweight and privacy focused and BlackArch is just for those who want a shit ton of tools, which of most are useless. If u like customizing stuff Kali is your best bet, but if you want something that blends privacy with penetration testing maybe try Parrot.
Thank you for ranks @ Al-Sheikh and @ 5150 !

Learned on Kali. Never tried any other OS and prolly never will. If it aint broke don't fix it.
