Nine Hasidic Jews were arrested in New York after they tried to prevent law enforcement officers from boarding up a tunnel. The tunnel which was beneath a Synagogue was dug by "a group of extremist students".
Prior to the discovery of the tunnel, @RichardStrocher, a New York resident posted on X that he thinks there are Jews living under his apartment. This claim was considered crazy but it seems the discovery of the synagogue's tunnel is a validation of this claim.
