I wonder about this French leaker

At the moment France and the business world are living in an extreme situation with regard to data leaks, a person on this forum currently has a monopoly on these leaks... I have a lot of questions about this one. You have to know how to recognize talents and tell yourself that if tomorrow, the feds get their hands on him, it would be a great relief because lately he hasn't stopped lol. I revel in the situation while sipping my tea of course.  Cool
  • Who is behind this account? A group or a person who hacks all day long?
  • How does he do it? Does it use simple means such as access on intelx or does it use flaws such as XSS, RCE?
  • Why is he targeting France? What is in it for him?

At one point it can also be a PsyOp to pass some very strict laws about full control on population because of the "leaks". The people releasing those dumps could also be working for the Gov with the goal to make everyone fearing the next leak.
Make people accept their condition with fear.
More globally, leaks always existed but putting all in public simultaneously in a few months is a nice coincidence.

This forum account is currently banned. Ban Length: Permanent (N/A Remaining)
Ban Reason: Contact Administration.

lookup "the red hand", french feds are notorious for using existing groups to push their agenda (in the red hand case, false flag terrorist bombing to push spain to crush morocan nationalism)

Maybe he has nothing to do with any government and is just doing this purely as a challenge, deliberately choosing to target institutions in his country of origin (France), or because he aligns with countries whose interests diverge from those of France.
I mean, if you compromise databases by targeting the whole world, you’ll inevitably find something. But if you restrict yourself to a single country, you quickly reduce the chances of compromising a ‘well-known’ database, which increases the ‘challenge’ aspect.

If the goal were to establish mass surveillance (in France), they wouldn’t need this, they can already rely on the constant and growing insecurity in Europe. There’s no need to play the data card. They’re already doing it by invoking the protection of minors on social networks.

It is clear according to my analysis that the account of the user "HexDex" uses usual circumvention procedures to extract and exploit a large amount of french data for personal purposes.

if you wonder how me, hexdex, and others dump their data, most of the time it's just logging into some internal panel (as an employee, or an user) and using idors, or just classic scrapping

Do you use old passwords that you bring back up to date using certain patterns? Even if some companies have very fragmented segmentation, if they’ve done at least one pentest they shouldn’t have this kind of segmentation issue. So are companies so bad that they can’t even manage basic application segmentation?
