When I created my account here, I can get 5 credits by posting threads, but now even by posting threads, I can't get any more credits. Is this correct or is it a bug or something?

You have to reach 30 posts in order to start earning credits. Keep your posts high quality though or you'll get banned for leeching.

You can get points by buying them, but otherwise you need to post actual constructive stuff on the forum. IIRC you don't get points if your post is just short responses and shit like that.
