Simple steps for modifying Assembly in IDA, hope it helps! This will patch the exe you are analyzing.
Attention: IDA just teleports you to the next instruction.
(Maybe a hex editor would be a better solution for this task, but anyways)

Ah ok, I got it, I ended up going with my old IDE, Dev C++. Thank you!
