How to Use Gmail as a Domain Alias for a Custom Domain for Free

Some of you may already know this, but I'm sharing this information specifically for those who don't. How to take advantage of free features in Gmail. If you have a domain that you want to use as a temporary email alias that matches your domain, you can alias it to your Gmail for free. Or maybe if you have an account at Free DNS and you like a domain name registered there, you can also make it a temporary email. For example: email@my.mindhackers.org, etc...
This method will look elegant by utilizing free facilities from Gmail.

Supplies Needed

1. Your own domain or a free domain
   
2. A Gmail account
   
3. A Cloudflare account
   

Instructions

1. Register your domain name on Cloudflare and get the nameservers there.
   
2. Log in to your domain provider, set the DNS nameservers to the nameservers provided by Cloudflare.
   
3. Log in to your Google account, then create a password for your app, App Password. Save the password generated from the App Password. Don't lose it.
   
4. Log in to Cloudflare and configure the email routing settings.
   
5. Open your Gmail settings, go to Accounts and Import, under "Send mail as," add another email address.
   
6. Done.
   

For those of you who use this kind of thing, make sure to stay focused on privacy and security. Also, make sure that incoming or outgoing emails or messages are well encrypted if you think they are important. We are just taking advantage of something free to make it useful, but still focus on privacy and security.
