Is Privacy Worth Giving Up for Security?

Governments and companies collect more data than ever, saying it helps keep us safe. Some believe this prevents crime and cyber threats. Others think it’s an excuse to take away our privacy.
Should we accept this for security, or is privacy more important? Can we have both, or is that impossible?
What do you think?

It comes down to that saying of Liberty.
If you are willing give up privacy/ liberty for security then you deserve neither.

You ideally shouldn't be giving up either.

Privacy is more important, gov would do anything in the name of "security"
