Hi,
I have about 36 trillion terabytes of data in very different formats. But anyhow, lets say i do eventually feel like formatting them all....

I need a guide on how to make a search engine so i dont have to sit at my pc waiting for the grep command to fry my pc (it also takes a very long time) and im very poor, living in Zambia. My fans spin at such a fast rate that it is blowing straws off my walls.

There are already platforms that accomplish this, lucene or more specifically, Apache Solr or Elastic Search, is most likely what you're referring to. However, what you seek is a well made front-end that users can enter their queries and have fancy GUI output.

I can speak from experience with Elastic Search, you'd want to seek info about importing your cleaned indexes of databases into Logstash and querying it from the Elastic Search REST API.

How much of a brain do i need to complete said tasks? Is it viable to let an Indian brother RDP to my server and get them to do all the work for me?
I haven't experimented much with databases apart from MySQL.

I will eventually look at the process in importing the datasets. If it is tedious and annoying then i will decide on the avenue to take.

hello dear i have solution for this. i have developed platform for this but i have limited breached data so i have stop this for sometime, if you want that platform i will give you and if you want to do partnership with me im ready.

I was gonna suggest grep but idk for that much data... also parsing all those databases and whatever you have for the right format for ur searcher is the worst part

Edit: Ah you are planning to make an actual website, don't care too much about the design at least first, make some simple search at first and MariaDB should be faster than MySQL. I am not the best person to answer this tbh but good luck with your project man!
