If i make a thread and i hide it and I put x amount of credits and someone (user) buys it i get those credits right or not?

Most likely yes, I never did so but that's probably the reason they always do it.

I'm not sure either. I've only released free data, so there's no need for credits to unlock.

Also I don't think you are able to change the amount on this BF last version. 
It is 8 credits by default
