I'm thinking of setting up my own homelab and I'm looking for inspiration. Do any of you have one? What do you use it for?

My priority is mainly self-hosting. But I'm sure there are applications that I haven't thought of and are very interesting. I'll read you in the comments!

HomeLab is bad idea, If you live in a shit country like U.S, India, Austrlia, etc. Only self-host at home for certain projects like my plex media server im hosting for family/friends and proxying to public access as well for other things just buy a server from offshore.xbdm.fun

I did not know that page existance, but it is very interesting. I have no idea about cloud-hosting, so I would like to know your opinion. If I mix concepts is because I don't really know what I'm talking about, but I understand that for that kind of tasks the most mainstream services are usually Linode, Digital Ocean, Vultr, AWS... However, I don't see any of those listed on the Offshore page. Why?
