For when you're not root

There may come a time when you are stuck in userland when you are on a unix host. One of the easiest ways to privesc is finding (hopefully) a binary that executes with root permissions and "busting out" of user privs. There is a great well known guide for finding your way out of these configured binaries.

GTFOBins is a curated list of Unix binaries that can be used to bypass local security restrictions in misconfigured systems. If you find yourself in this type of situation I recommend starting here:
