Joseph James O'Connor a/k/a PlugWalkJoe has been released from federal prison.
Joe was behind the 2020 Twitter hack targeting high-profile accounts. He was a known sim swapper, and stole nearly $800K in crypto.
Extradited from Spain, he pleaded guilty in 2023 and was sentenced to five years in U.S. prison.
