How do you download large files over Tor without failing?
Trying to download a large dump, ~140GB from an onion site, but it keeps failing.
What are some ways you do to counter this?

Usually a cmd line with torsocks/torify helps, wget etc.

A workaround might be to set up a c2 server/rdp using tor, connect to it using tor, but download the file normally from the rdp/server.
Once downloaded on the rdp/server, use a tool like rsync (through tor ofc) to download the file back to your own machine. rsync can continue the download after being interrupted and makes sure nothing is corrupted.

Did you get it to work with torsocks or another way?
I suspect I will be looking for the same solution soon enough.

i think if it is torrent then you can download a few parts of the torrent each time. if normal download then i suggest
you play with the nodes you can connect with and make sure you have more fail resistant path. u can make sure of that i hear but i dont know how sorry.
its important to watch for data correlation when download really huge files. watch out if tor is the only thing ure using in ur network stack
