I see a lot of people denigrating people who write code or write things with the help of AI. is it stupid to use AI? These people often think they know too much. But they don't know anything, so when you say “hey, my fucking code is not working, can you take a look at it”, even if they don't know the answer, they will look at it and fuck it up. So why do people denigrate people who use artificial intelligence? It's absurd to write code entirely with chatgpt (it's like sending someone a localhost address as a message), but when you blend AI with your own code, it's 100% productive
(These are my personal opinions and generalizations. you can be a good coder or text generator I love you )

I think AI can be very useful. For example if you're trying to find an answer to something the plain internet wont just tell you clearly, simple scripts, advice, etc. I think it can be used poorly though, like for essays or anything school related as it kinda defeats the purpose of school. just my thoughts though.

this is especially true since when you currently google something all you get is a bunch of irrelevant info, AI can help give you a straight answer right away

Using search engines effectively and knowing how to ask the right questions, where to search for asnwers. These are all valuable skills. And AI can be an extension of that. Of course for security's sake you shouldn't run code that you don't understand.

But using AI and sparing yourself many headaches shouldn't be frowned upon.
