Recently I've been trying to engage in the cryto hype (I know I'm kinda late, or, am I?) and my studies led to self custody and hot or cold wallets for HODLing BTCs.

HOT Wallets
Metamask, owned by ConsenSys (USA), open-source
Coinbase, owned by Coinbase (USA), proprietary
Trustwallet, owned by Binance (USA), open-source
Exodus, owned by Exosud (USA), hybrid

COLD Wallets
Trezor, private company, Czech, open-source
Ledger, private company, France, proprietary

Did anyone use Sparrow Wallet (open-source, community owned) on Tails Linux?

Considering that Sparrow Wallet would be connectig to public Electrum servers but Tails Linux communicates using a TOR browser, would this be a safe solution?

Is there anything I might be overlooking?

yeah I prefer hardware wallets for sure, if you're looking to keep your crypto safe. I wouldnt keep them on a exchange
