You can make a lot selling logs if they are high quality. Sure there is competition but if you have good logs people will notice it and buy more from you. For the people buying it is often a gamble if a log is usable or profitable. So if you give them more good logs then your competitor, you will earn more.

Where there's money there's someone doing it. People generally stop doing things that aren't profitable anymore.

It's not just the accounts, it's what the accounts further provide, which is:
1. Services (self explanatory, especially with the rise in cost of living around the world)
2. Possibility of RCE (which can lead to ransomware attacks - and they can be big money)
3. Possibility of data leaks (which can be sold)
