That's fair criticism - he kept harmful plans from Harry. But he aimed to empower Harry to defeat Voldemort.
I see your point, and that plan did work in the end. Doesn't Dumbledore's control trouble you? What do you think of Gandalf instead?

Gandalf offers incredible insight from centuries of experience. Though he also manipulates events behind the scenes quite a bit.
His maneuvering does seem ethically questionable at times. I suppose no character is perfect.

Flawed characters often reveal more compelling lessons. If I wanted honest advice, I would ask Nakia from Black Panther

Nakia's balance of conviction and empathy could provide enlightening moral guidance, killmonger raises critical systemic issues too. Nice movie btw

True, Killmonger forces hard truths about oppression to light, though his violence concerns me. A thoughtful leader like T'Challa seems ideal. (Btw i just read our messages and we sound like fucking nerds lol)

Nerd and proud! T'Challa does walk the line between revolutionary and moderate with wisdom. For female insight, Hermione's intellect intrigues me, plus she is hot (the actress)

Hermione sharpens thought through knowledge while confronting injustice. But she can be rigidly lawful at times too.
