About a month ago, a user with the handle u/medeure posted on Dread with the title "[Internal employee disclosure] Zoom violates users' privacy". The post included a MEGA download link to a PDF file containing insider information about Zoom's unauthorized collection of personal data. Despite Zoom's Privacy Statement asserting that they "do not access or use Customer Content, including meeting, webinar, messaging, or email content, without users' consent," the document revealed that Zoom secretly collected and used personal information for AI training and provided it to government agencies.
