In October 2025, U.S. auto retailer CarMax (carmax.com) was breached by "ScatteredLAPSUSHunters" aka @ShinyHunters which led to public exposure of almost 452k customers records on BreachForums. The leak included over 431k unique email addresses, FAX numbers, names, phone numbers and physical addresses. Some records also included Dates of Birth.

Compromised data: Dates of birth, Email addresses, FAX numbers, Names, Phone numbers, Physical addresses

The .7z File's MD5 Hash is A5A1F740AF5DE9F7967FDA32A6E13FF5. In total, there are 451994 records. The file is 1.65GB uncompressed and 52.87MB compressed.
