Oracle say no breach on their main Oracle Cloud, but hacker steal data from old servers, what Oracle call “obsolete”. They send emails to customer saying no cloud problem, no data lost, no service down. But hacker sell 6 million records online, and data look real — even some info from 2025.

Oracle keep say it’s not from Oracle Cloud, just from “Oracle Classic” (old version), but cybersecurity expert say it’s same company’s cloud, just different name. Some servers had malware since January, and data like email, username and hashed password was stolen.

Oracle also had another breach in January in Oracle Health, where hospital data was taken, and now hacker ask ransom. People not happy because if servers is “obsolete,” why still online and hacked?

Oracle try to look good, but many not believe full story. Angel Huh

This is a typical PR case, because the company needs to downplay the impact of the incident to avoid high losses, if the company bought the data, it will cause more serious consequences, human nature is complicated
